Prof Guy MerchantI finally got my finger out and contributed to the Purpos/ed debate that’s been running for a bit. I took the opportunity to interview Prof Guy Merchant of Sheffield Hallam Uni on two key questions:

A) How should we educate people in the future?

B) What do we need to be doing now to enable that?

Here’s what he said:

Guy’s been my tutor on a couple of modules for the MSc I’ve been plugging away at and we had a course conference with the fellow students from across Europe this weekend (which explains why the Audioboo is geotagged as being in Hasselt, of all places).

I was planning to write my own response to the questions in this blog and it turns out it’s going to be along similar lines to what Guy talks about (which at least shows I’ve been ‘listening during class!’). I’ll post that up in the next few days.
