I’m bookmarking this, not so much because I’m a fan of the Grauniad and that it’s iPad app looks cool…
…it’s more the look of the first video. I’m thinking about videos of our Netskills events that include talking heads, footage of activity, presentation slides etc, all in a neat geometric shape.

Is this an example of digital storytelling?
Probably not. It feels more like a written report that has been screencast. I don’t think I’m the intended audience (it feels like a piece for assessment) but it’s a good case study in the art of telling small stories to make big points.
This video doesn’t set out to do that. At over 14 minutes long it’s designed to be comprehensive, not indicative.
